Question: whats the mass of the sun
Asked by georges to Adam on 12 Mar 2012.
answered on 12 Mar 2012:
I don’t know the number from the top of my head, but the sun contains 99% of all the mass in the solar system.
So if you added up the Earth, all the other planets, all the asteroid and comets, it would only come to a hundredth of the mass of the Sun.

so that must be a big number
