• Question: Can you throw up in space?

      Yes, but the sick would float and go everywhere – disgusting! Space ships carry sick bags like on aeroplanes so you’d have to try and be sick in the bag so you don’t make too much mess!

      About half the people who have ever been into space throw up! It’s similar to sea sickness – your inner ears don’t know what’s going on and the signals from your eyes don’t help, so for some reason our bodies decide to puke our guts up!

      Even the most qualified astronauts have been sick, but like Catherine says it’s a nightmare for them to clean up!

      I should think so, and I think it would be even messier than on Earth, because there’s no gravity and all the sick would just float in the air!
