• Question: do you gaze the stars when they are out at night

      Sometimes, but I get cold easily so I don’t do it as often as I do when I’m working. Ironically, at the telescope we use in Spain, even though it is at the top of a mountain, it can be really warm so its nice to go out for hours and watch the stars go by. Plus it is a lot easier because it is so much darker; I live in York and you can’t see very many stars.

      But my friend has a cool App on his smartphone that lets you hold the phone up and it shows you what constellations there are in the sky, which seems like a really easy way to learn what is in the sky.

      Plus I did see Jupiter and Venus when they got close recently; look near the horizon when the sun is going down and the two really bright “stars” are actually planets.
