      No, not allowed in rented accommodation usually. I would quite like a tortoise though.

      I have a cat named Holly (named in honour of a movie star she reminded me of – can anyone guess who?).

      She’s actually American and moved back with me from the US about 3.5 years ago. She’s coming up for 9 years old and starting to get a bit smelly. 🙁

      I have lots (although they live in Wales, I’m not allowed any in Oxford)
      I have 15 cats, an old english sheepdog, a goldfish, three geese, and ten peacocks (actually only one peacock, all the others are girls so they’re called peahens)

      We used to have angora goats and pigs too!

      No, although we help look after a funny old cat on our street called Squeaky (whenever she tries to meow, you get a squeak instead!). If I had to choose a pet, I’d chose a cat but a particular one called a Turkish Van (named after the city, not the type of truck!) because Van’s like water and they even go swimming if they can. That is really unusual in a cat so it would be fun to get one.
