• Question: Do you know bill nye? If you do do you like him?

      I have actually met him once. I was a graduate student at Cornell helping with a large class of astronomy (in the US Astronomy 101 is really popular in universities) and Bill Nye the Science Guy came and lectured for the class. They were all really excited about that. I’m surprised you’ve heard of him though – I only did when I was living in the USA..

      Although it occurs to me now you probably mean Bill Nye the actor (Love Actually is one of my favourites). Him I’ve never met.

      I don’t know him personally but I’ve seen a few of his shows. I can’t say they are that brilliant, but anyone who works as hard as him to spread the idea of science is alright by my book!

      If you like Bill Nye you should check out Neil deGrasse Tyson.

      I don’t know Bill Nye, and don’t really follow his shows, because they’re a bit American for me!
