      I really hated history at school! I didn’t like having to remember all those people and dates. With fossils, there aren’t any people to remember, but I still get mixed up with dates.

      My fossils are from a nice round number 1000 million years ago, so that’s easy to remember. I have to have a timeline on my wall though so I can remember when all the different things evolved.

      I love a bit of history, mostly political history. Unfortunately there are periods of history that are more boring than others, and those are the ones they tend to make you study at school!

      I read a bit of history (for fun!) when I’m not working.

      I don’t really research life millions of years ago though…
