I don’t spend much time playing computer games, my boyfriend loves skyrim – he plays it all the time and is now on level 80

I don’t play many computer games but I have a fondness for the Elder Scrolls games… so yes I have played Skyrim. But Catherine’s boyfriend sounds better than me, I am only level 52!

I play a lot of computer games when I’m not working – because I find it useful to keep my mind active, but not thinking about my scientific problems. I like Minecraft because it lets me be creative, and I also play Assassins Creed and Portal. I like strategy games like Total War and Civilization too!

I’m afraid that I only play really old video games. They look awful compared to what you get today, but I’m happy with them. Actually, I prefer games that leave you imagine how things could look.

A game I played a lot when I was about 13 was called ‘Zork’ which was from 1981. No graphics at all, no sound, only words on a screen and you typed in what you wanted to do! But it was a lot of fun.

(If you are curious, the games I play sometimes now are ‘Elite’, ‘Tetris’ on the train, and very occasionally ‘Transport Tycoon’.)

Not really. I spend so much time working on computers, I don’t tend to spend much of my free time on them beyond sending emails to friends.
