I have watched it before. It makes me a bit annoyed because in some ways it’s not realistic. I’d love to be able to put my sample in a machine and get an answer out on my computer really fast. In reality science is often slow, things don’t work first time and scientists make mistakes. I have a friend who worked in a forensic science lab and it wasn’t like CSI at all!

I tried to watch it, but didn’t last very long – it’s all a bit American for me and, like Catherine says, not very realistic.

I prefer crime programmes where people use their brains, like Sherlock Holmes. Makes me think if I could work that well, I’d be awesome too!!

No, it’s rubbish and boring! Apart from the guy with sunglasses and his one liners.

No. Although I do in general like detective shows. I always saw reviews that said they made it look like they had some magic science machine and didn’t actually have to do any work to make all the findings they do…

I like Castle a lot, and also the new Sherlock. And I find Psych amusing – but also a clever idea.

I watched it years ago, but not now. I did watch the Sherlock Holmes series and Wallander on BBC4, Sherlock is a bit silly but fun, and Wallander is probably the most realistic.
