I’m a very clumsy person! So I manage to injure myself quite a lot. Nothing too bad with work though – I fell over walking down a steep hill and grazed all the skin off my knee and twisted my ankle in Scotland once, and a rock fell on my head in Greece. I was wearing a hard hat though, so it was fine!

I broke my arm roller blading when I was 11 (I wasn’t very good).

Also broke my leg doing judo a few years back. I now have a titanium plate on my fibula, so technically I am bionic!

I’ve been concussed a few times as well, and I have a massive lump on my head from a slightly over eager fight when I was little.

      Not seriously.

Yes, I think everyone has hurt themselves at some point. I crashed into a wall when learning how to ride a bike: I squeezed the front brake lever too hard, locked the front wheel, and went over the handlebars.

Whilst doing science though, I think the worst thing that has happened was when I fell into a river once whilst trying to cross it. Sadly I let go of all the notes we had made during the morning which then got all wet and my friend left me to go and chase after them. Later on he found a poisonous snake, yelled, and ran off, while it didn’t bother me so it goes to show that you need all types when outdoors! (And this was in Scotland too.)
