• Question: hey how come birds can fly without falling we can

      Not sure I understand… But we can fly! We do it all the time, in planes and helicopters!

      Birds just have an advantage because they have wings.

      Birds use their wings to generate lift so they can fly. We don’t have our own wings so we have to use aeroplanes instead!

      Birds get to fly for a couple of reasons.

      1, Their chest and shoulder muscles that flap their wings are unbelievably strong, and their skeleton is shaped specially to make the muscles fit. If our skeleton were shaped like that, our chests would be 3 ft out in front of our bodies

      2, They are aerodynamic. Everything about them, from the tip of their beak to the end of their tail is made for catching wind currents and using them to stay in the air for as long as possible without flapping.
