The symptoms of pregnancy vary a lot from woman to woman. One of the most obvious sympoms is that your periods stop, but some women continue to have periods throughout their pregnancy. Also some women get a very noticable pregnancy bump, whereas others just look like they have put on some weight, particularly if they are a bit larger to start with. I know someone who didn’t know she was pregnant until she was admitted to hospital with stomach pains. She thought it was her appendix and was quite surprised when they told her she was in labour!

Like Catherine says, all women are different and some never notice the symptoms in particular circumstances.

The body is a strange thing and sometimes does things we don’t expect!

I really don’t know! I’ve never had the experience of being pregnant, but I’m sure there are lots of different cases where people change size differently and at different times.
