I know my mouth normally feels pretty rank if I forget to brush my teeth in the morning!

You get morning breath because when you’re sleeping you’re not getting as much oxygen in your mouth, so lots of anaerobic bacteria that are naturally in you mouth get going, producing smelly breath with sulphur in. The same thing doesn’t happen for in the evening because you’re talking and breathing and normal stuff. But certain foods like onions can contain the sulphur that makes bad breath too, so stay away from the onions at dinner if you’re planning on doing any kissing!
