So it wouldn’t really be good for doing sports or stuff like that, as it won’t give you a quick burst of energy. Like Karen says, it’s probably better for you overall though, as it doesn’t contain all those weird chemicals and sugars that energy drinks do.
Most of what makes up milk is protein and fat, both of which your body needs to be able to grow strong bone and muscle.
But when your body needs energy, it want easy to get supplies of carbohydrates, like sugars that you get in energy drinks. If your body can’t get the carbs, it will start to break down fat, but this is a slower and trickier process. So a glass of milk before exercise probably won’t do you much good.
