• Question: What is the most interesting fossil that you have found so far?

      I’m a bit of a geek, so the best fossil I think I found probably isn’t interesting to most people!

      I found a tiny fossil of an algae, like pond scum, that is 1000 million years old, from a lake in Scotland. Nobody had ever seen anything like it before, and it’s probably a new species that didn’t survive so we don;t have it today!

      I also found a fossil fish, which is pretty cool!
