• Question: What's the oldest fossil you have ever found personaly?

      I have found a new kind of fossil bacteria in rocks from Canada that are 2000 million years old. They don’t look like much, but they are some of the oldest things we have found that we are sure were once alive.

      In comparison, there are no animal fossils that are any older than 500 million years old, and dinosaurs are only 65 million years ago, so these bacteria are really really old!
