I’m interested in my work, because nobody told me I had to do it. It was something I was always curious about, and somebody else thinks its a good thing to research, so I get to do it!

Specifically, I find it fascinating that we can look for living things other than those here on Earth, and lots of people would love to learn about aliens, whatever they might be. So I like to think that I am helping answer everyones questions with the work I do!

Because I might be able to prove if there’s life on Mars or not!

I think it’s really facinated to understand how things work. I’ve always liked asking difficult questions. In my current project I’d really like to find evidence of life on Mars, it would be very exciting to discover that life can exist on other planets

Because all that is between the universe and us is the atmosphere. If we can see through it then we will able to actually see planets around other stars, for example, and perhaps even detect life on them. Are we alone in the universe? Perhaps not, and one way to find out is to take a look and to do that easily, we need the sort of work I (and all my colleagues!) do.
