• Question: will there ever be more dinosaurs

      Oh I wish there were! Although maybe not the giant city-crushing, man-eating types, but cute tameable ones…

      Short answer: no 🙁
      Longer answer: To resurrect an extinct species, you’d need it’s DNA, like they used in Jurassic Park. But so far, we know of no way of preserving DNA for more than about 100,000 years. The dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years ago, so we really have no hope of getting their DNA.

      The only way we could get them is if they evolved again, but then they wouldn’t be true dinosaurs, but a new group of fierce lizards…
